100 Pipers is a blended Scotch whiskey of a light golden hue with a soft, light taste and a delicate smoky accent. The aroma is spicy and warm, giving a classic Scottish feel. Whiskey is pleasant to drink as a digestif - neat, with ice or as part of cocktails. The name refers to the legend of the hundred pipers who raised the morale of the Scots in 1745. The blend includes up to 30 malt whiskies, including Allt-a-Bhainne and Braeval, and is produced by Chivas Brothers (the Pernod Ricard group).
